Our team at HAMR is always looking to expand our material repertoire and the data available in cold spray AM. In our most recent efforts, we are working to develop a recipes for Ti-based sprays. This includes pure titanium, as well as Ti-6Al-4V (Ti64). During development, many variables are at play, including temperature, pressure, carrier gas, pre-processing of feedstock, post-processing via heat treatment, and more. Here is what it looks like to spray Ti64 with compressed air!
