HAMR demonstrates Fully Additive 155-casing

We are no strangers to pushing the limits our system and printing large format additive parts. In our most recent adventure, we printed our first 155mm casing proof of concept, demonstrating yet another way cold spray additive manufacturing can contribute to our defense needs. The as-printed geometry (shown) will be machined and then the copper-band will be sprayed onto the diameter in the upcoming weeks. This will result in a fully additive produced 155mm casing. This print was completed in about 10 hours.
